For every attendee at Comic-con, the world’s largest pop culture convention, there are always long lines. Lines to get in, lines to see the "Avengers" panel, lines to play the newest video game. Lines are a part of life at this convention devoted to comics, movies and all things pop culture.
Comic-Con doesn’t track the number of PWDs who attend every year, but spend just one day walking the convention hall and you’ll see plenty of wheelchairs moving through the notoriously large crowds.
However, in recent years, the lines at Comic-Con’s disabled services are so long, many PWD Club members have made formal complaints to the event host. So, when Comic-Con reached out to PWD Club to propose a partnership, it was, as they say, a no brainer.
